The recent snow has receded into the higher mountains, while the fall colors are out down here. The leaves have been a little slow in changing this year, but are rounding into form now. Come over and have a look.

It's good to hear the leaves are late coming this year as the first chance I am going to have to drive North Cascades this fall s next weekend (Nov 31). Do you think it's still going to be worth the drive from Gig Hrbor?
There are still some fall colors on the valley floor and around Patterson Lake, but the color season is winding down - in fact, there is snow up on the Pass today!
